About Garthenor Organic.

Garthenor Organic is a small maker of certified organic, climate positive wool yarns for the knitting, crochet and crafting communities. We sell our range of yarns online, via our growing network of stockists around the world and at shows. We have a global reputation for sustainable, high quality and traceable products, and as of 2022 we’re based at our new premises in Cardigan. This larger space is enabling us to take on more projects, processes and opportunities using new and restored textile machinery on a small industrial scale.

We’re a little team with big goals, and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us and share our mission for making products the right way.

Garthenor Organic is committed to creating a diverse working environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

As part of our online presence, you’ll be expected to pick up our brand voice and help provide a seamless experience across platforms. You’ll also need to be comfortable appearing on screen (such as Instagram stories and reels).

As a small company, duties can change quickly and you’ll be expected to pick up tasks such as order packing, inventory management and appearing at shows.

Hybrid and remote work is possible, but you’ll need to be able to work in Cardigan at least one day a week. This role is part time, approximately 16 hours per week. There will be scope to expand to full time in the future.

Preferred skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Interest and/or experience in textile industry.
