Soft as a whisper. Smooth as butter.
Smooth, soft, and ever-so-luxurious, Preseli glides through your fingers like butter left out on the counter - comfortably soft, never greasy. A worsted spun blend of velvety Falkland Polwarth and dark, characterful Hebridean, it brings together the best of both flocks: polish and poise with just enough wild in its heart to keep things interesting.
Spun with precision and dyed to GOTS-certified standards, it’s a yarn that wears its pedigree lightly. Whether you’re reaching for crisp stitch definition, silky drape, or a project that won’t spend its life in a drawer, Preseli’s up for it. It’s fingering weight, it’s a dream to knit, and yes - it really is properly next-to-skin soft.
Four fleeting marls. Inspired by the hedgerow. Spun from joy.
We’ve taken some of our favourite shades from the Preseli palette and given them a new twist - literally. The Botanical Collection is a one-off set of marls, each inspired by the quiet beauty of native wildflowers and plants: from the nodding checkerboard petals of fritillaries to the shadowy fronds of late summer ferns.
It started with colour, of course. We love the palette, and wanted to see it from a fresh angle. But the combinations came to life through the plants themselves: their stories, shapes, and the way they shimmer in memory.
Each marl creates a soft, flecked fabric that knits up far subtler than the skein might suggest, ideal for gentle textures, simple shapes, and the kind of making that reminds you to look up every now and again.
There are just four shades, and when they’re gone, they really are gone. No reissues, no restocks.
